December 2013 Favorites

Stepped up my game in favorites this month. There were a ton of sales and gifts sets that I just couldn't resist and I have found a whole lot of new favorites this way! I tried to pick just the best of the best and keep it under 10, otherwise I would be here for a VERY long time gushing about a million and one products.

  • butter London Toff. This color is SO pretty. It's this great dusty brown pink and the formula is a dream. It is just buttery and applies so nice and smoothly with just one coat that dried pretty much right away. After the end of my Mani Mondays I will definitely be grabbing for this more and more, it is just perfection in a bottle.
  • Essie's Sparkle On Top. Glitter isn't always my favorite, I mean I love the way it looks, however it's such a pain to remove. Essie's Shine of the Times is a favorite of mine due to the flaky glitter that applies flat and smooth and is easy to get off. I was thrilled to see that they added a similar one to their Luxeffects! This one looks icy with white flakes and shards that is just beautiful over all dark polishes.
  • benefit's Rockateur. I was a little late in the game picking this up, but now I definitely understand the hype. The most beautiful rose gold flush and really warms up my pale skin in the winter time. Most blushes I feel like build up to a comedic amount of color real fast but not this one. I have been literally reaching for this everyday since I got it.
  • benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP. I got this fairly recently, but I've used benefit's creaseless cream shadows before and loved them, this is just the first one I purchased myself. This a beautiful sparkling pinky champagne. I love wearing this as an all over shade by itself on my lid, or using it as a base for my new Naked 3 palette! It compliments all the colors so well and I love how warm and girly it is.
  • Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Lead The Way. Lips really have never been a focus of my beauty routine but lately I have developed an obsession with dark brows, minimal eye makeup and then a bold lip. Personally I don't think I can rock a red lip in the daytime, yet I find these dark berries and plums perfectly fine. I'm already all about these lip glosses so it seemed natural that I would love the lipsticks too and this color is just divine. So creamy and rich!
  • benefit's Hello Flawless! powder in Honey. I've been just loving benefit a lot lately! This month I have rediscovered my love for powders instead of a liquid foundation. I've been a huge fan of just concealer and then setting everything with a powder. I've picked up this Benefit powder from my collection which I've always loved but just stopped using because I accidentally bought a shade that was very light for my skin, so now that I'm in winter porcelain mode it works pretty well!
  • NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny. To go along with that slightly light powder, I have been loving using this bronzer to warm up my face and just match the rest of my body a little better. I just love this and it's so affordable, just a few dollars at Target!
  • BH Cosmetics Pop Art Powder Brush. I got this brush set awhile ago (it was like $7-8 at the time, I couldn't resist the colors) and I use the smaller eye shadow brushes all the time but recently with me using more powder than anything else on my face I decided to try this out. Never going back to my ratchet Sephora brand brush again. This brush is SO soft but the bristles are so densely packed, it feels so luxurious on my face. If you're in need for some brushes, definitely go pick this set up, it goes on sale for dirt cheap sometimes and it's an awesome value for the quality of brushes!
  • Celestial Seasonings' Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride Holiday Tea. Honestly I wanted to list about five teas but I decided to just pick one. This stuff tastes sooo delicious, sadly it's limited edition so I'm definitely stocking up! But I love drinking a cup of this before bed every night and add in a splash of vanilla almond milk...heavenly.
  • Kitty Cat Ring. I picked up this little guy from Forever21 and I just love him. Might be a fox actually now that I'm looking at it, either way animal ears that are just so cute. I tried to find it online but I think it's sold out, so sorry no link for this one.
