Post HAUL-iday Extravaganza!

So I definitely took advantage of some after holiday sales, as well as when purchasing gifts for others a few items for me MAY have snuck into the here's a little collective haul of everything I've picked up in about the last two months. I'm also going to throw in a few of my makeup things I got for Christmas just because I'm so excited about them and need to share. Some close up and swatches are at the end of the post as usual!

  • BH Cosmetics 6 Color Concealer & Corrector Palette. First up I picked up this little guy. I've never had any of these color corrector palettes, so for $6 I decided to get it and try it out. I'm quite pleased with this, the colors seems to match me well and that green will be helpful for those little volcanoes (read acne) that erupt on my face. These are super creamy and I can't wait to test out their lasting power.
  • BH Cosmetics Duo Fiber Stippling Brush. I bought this thinking I could contour with it, but the brush isn't as dense as I would like it. Still it's a really soft brush (I really do love BH brushes, super affordable and soft, yet they get the job done with no shedding) and I do like it. This will probably get used for either setting powder, or just all over blending brush at the end to smooth on the blush, bronzer, highlighting all into the foundation.
  • Kardashian Beauty Nail Lacquer in Blaze. Next I went buck wild on Ulta picking up a lot of nail polish for my Mani Monday series so this is what the next four things are all about.
  • Orly in Jealous, Much?. The only Orly I already owned was Rage which is a metallic rose gold, thought I should get a cream finish for a more uniform experiment.
  • China Glaze in Peachy Keen. Same as Orly, except I just had a glitter one (which I actually don't like because it is very clumpy).
  • Seche in Irreplaceable and Precious. This was buy one get one why not! And yes I'm aware of how horrible Seche is for you, however I am willing to sacrifice in the name of beauty and science!
  • NYX Powder Blush in Dusty Rose. I did this for free shipping. I originally purchased two but they sent me the wrong color so now just one. The reason there isn't a swatch for this is that I decided not to open it until I finish some of the current blushes I have open.
  • Michael Kors Glam Jasmine. I bought this as a Christmas present to myself. I've been on the hunt for a Daisy dupe, but not actually Daisy. I'm obsessed with Daisy by Marc Jacobs but I don't like wearing it because everyone and their dog wears it so I try and be unique. This is so lovely and floral but not overly sweet and I think this is my new Daisy.
  • Naked3 Palette!!! Ahhh so excited! I got this for Christmas and it's actually my first Naked palette, I can't wait to play with this more.
  • em Chiaroscuro stick. I got this for myself and only just got it now, it took awhile in the mail. I need to play with the bronzing side more, I tried to do my nose but then realized how much I touch my nose throughout the day and pretty much rubbed it all off. I do love the highlighter, it's great for my brow bone!
  • Precision Blending Sponge. I heard this was a dupe for the beauty blender, and at the price of $4.99 at Marshall's I had to pick it up! Unfortunately I won't be able to do a review/comparison because I have never used the original beauty blender (someday....) but I'll be sure to include some thoughts on it either in my monthly favorites or unfavorites!
  • Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob. This is a beautiful neutral pink which will go great with my pinkier lipsticks and even the nudes. Brace yourselves for a whole lot of lippies, I went a little crazy and don't judge me, they are all basically the same shade...
  • Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 11. First of all the packaging is to die for, just too cute and sleek. This is the most beautiful matte holiday red lip.
  • Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Red Velvet. Another beautiful dark red lip. I'm a fan of the lip butters already and just really wanted this color too.
  • Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Adore. I'm a little late on this trend but I picked this up thinking it was a dark wine that I could wear under all these dark red lipsticks I've just bought, but it turned out to be more of a lighter red with a slight gold shimmer, it's a beautiful daytime look so I'm not even mad.
  • Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Dark Wine. I'm so excited to try this one, I swatched it and it was so incredibly dark and creamy. Cannot wait to test its lasting power and wear!!
  • elf Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Movie Star. I heard some good things about this so I'm looking forward to doing a review on this one.
  • YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Forbidden Burgundy (12). This was totally a princess splurge for me. Funny story with this one, I set out with all the intention of buying MAC's Diva, but after going to five different stores that said they were sold out with crazy back orders for that one, I ended up at Sephora and wandering over to the YSL section just fell in love with this shade. Again it was about a five store visit before I finally hunted down the last tube of this lipstick in the whole mall, but I'm so happy with it and just absolutely adore it. This packaging and the color is just to die for.
That's all for now. What are some things you've picked up lately?

Also had to sneak this last one in. Someone decided she wanted to help me with my pictures!
