January 2014 Favorites

Taking a break from the normally scheduled Mani Monday to bring you my January Favorites! I'm sorry to fail you guys slightly but my nails have been crying and I just needed to give them a few days of being naked before plunging them back into their acetone and chemically bath.

I'm going product crazy again. I limited it to 10 products again this month. Picked up some great new favorites from Christmas, as well as finding gems in products I picked up for various reviews and series.

  • Naked3. You knew this was coming ever since my haul. I got this as a Christmas present too and I'm just in love. I broke my usual not wearing eye shadows and have been reaching for this palette every single day. This is my first Naked palette, and actually my first Urban Decay product and now I understand all the crazy hype about it.
  • EOS Hand Lotion in Cucumber. I've really been on the hunt for a good hand cream for awhile now, you should see my nightstand there's just a whole cluster of meh hand creams that I have tried sitting there now. I got this as a Christmas present and it is my most favorite one now! Super moisturizing, smells so good, and best of all it dries up fast and is non-greasy yet keeps my hands feeling soft and smooth.
  • em Chiaroscuro stick. A little late on picking this one up but I finally went in with a friend and got it when there was the buy one get one free sale on the site (all the way back for Cyber Monday, this took awhile to get here). Despite wanting it to try the nose job claims, I found that I really love the highlighter end better. I use it to highlight my brow bone everyday, it's just so easy to apply and extra creamy for blending it all in.
  • Michael Kors Glam Jasmine. I've been on the hunt for a slightly less sweet more wintry smell and this is it. Delicious and pink and a little sophisticated I just love it.
  • Wet n Wild Silk Finish in Dark Wine. This color is so beautiful and the lipstick is so moisturizing and easy to apply. Best part thing about it, it was only 99 cents! I think this is also my first Wet n Wild product and I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. This actually stains my lips like crazy which is a good thing, because I love lip staining products so when I forget to reapply it's okay because there is still a good amount of color on the lips.
  • Lorac Stylist Palette. I picked this guy up for $15 at Ulta on a whim, good thing I ended up being absolutely obsessed with it. The colors are lovely for making both neutral and smokey eyes without being over the top. Also the hounds-tooth pattern is adorable and the perfect size for travel! This will definitely be my go-to travel palette from now on. Sorry I can't even find it for sale online anywhere now.
  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Oily eyelids no more! This stuff is magical, putting this on and then patting on some cream eye shadow and I'm good to go all day with a ton of oil building up on my eyelids and ruining my day.
  • MAC Matte Lipstick in Diva. I hunted for this forever, it was sold out everywhere in the area and finally my sister was lucky enough to locate a tube for me. Such a gorgeous dark red, and my first MAC product!
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I won't rant on about this since I've done a full review already, but just know that it's amazing.
  • BH Cosmetics 6 Color Concealer & Corrector Palette. I also did a full review on this one and ended up really loving it, gave my Rimmel Color Match Concealer a break, but I just love how creamy this stuff is and all contained to one handy little palette.
What are your favorites from this past month?
