What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?

As you are reading this (right this very instant) I am actually in Iceland! Or I might be a plane back, time differences and a what-not really confuse me. Someone asked me how long of a flight it was there and I couldn't even answer that (much less where Iceland is exactly). Since I am venturing out I thought it would be fun to share what I brought along makeup wise with me! I didn't bring too much, just enough to put together basic looks and I went for flatter, more travel friendly products. I must say the most difficult thing to pack was brushes as well as picking out a setting powder (which I actually have no intention of using but just in case...). I'm bringing all my products in this cute sparkly makeup bag that was a free gift with purchase (one of those that come stuffed with samples) that is very compact but surprisingly roomy and sturdy. I'm also bringing a separate green zip bag to store my brushes for those wondering.
For the eyes I have picked out this cute little travel sized Benefit's They're Real! mascara, this really is the best all around mascara I have used that really lengthens my lashes, curls and provides some volume. For the sake of not having to tote along a sharpener I've grabbed an old favorite the L'Oreal Infallible Eyeliner in Black just because it is a twist up as well as my Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner for those days I want to rock the wings (naturally this means my elf Makeup Remover Pen has to come along too) For the brows I can't leave home without my trusty trio of Anastasia Brow Whiz, Benefit's Gimme Brow, and Maybelline Clear Mascara to set it all in place. I'll admit I wasn't a fan of Gimme Brow the first few times I used it after purchasing it but I find it's great as a more long lasting solution to the two sparse areas I have in my brows.
I don't usually wear eye shadow during the day but I decided to bring some shadow products just in case so the Too Faced Shadow Insurance in this little sample size is a must have, nothing else keeps my shadows from straying from my oily lids, as well as this nice neutral Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP from Benefit, to act as a base. I had a hard time picking between the travel friendly palettes I had (trust me, I have a few for some reason) and finally settled with the Lorac Stylist Palette simply for its versatility to create a whole bunch of different looks as well as those two highlighters included.
For the face, I'm forgoing a full on foundation and bringing my favorite L'Oreal BB Cream and also toting along my Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer for the spots that need a little extra help. I chose this one because of its creamy consistency so it will work for any dark circles I may have. Then I have my two staples of NYC Sunny as my bronzer and theBalm's Hot Mama for blush, I just can't leave home without them and so travel friendly! I was torn between this and the Rimmel Stay Matte but in the end chose Benefit's Hello Flawless to act as a setting powder and extra shine control.
I picked some favorite lip products of mine to bring along including Revlon's Balm Stain in Honey, Jordana Balm Stain in Nude Chic, Maybelline Color Whisper in Made it Mauve and Nyx Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake. I went for a range of more neutral colors since chances are I won't remember to slap any of these on at all.

What are some of your travel makeup essentials?
