UPDATE: Project Pan REMIX!

Another month with some progress made on Project Pan REMIX! I'm still working out exactly how I want to run this show so we'll see if the format changes. The concept of Project Pan REMIX is that I will have five products (left side) that I am treating like a traditional Project Pan (full-time), using it until it's gone and reporting on the progress every month, and then five products (right side) that I will be using that are just forgotten products and I want to incorporate more into my daily routine (think of this as part time Project Pan). Then I will have one product (center) that I will swap in on a weekly basis as a rotating "use me more" type of thing and this month I'm going to work through my perfume samples!  The format of reporting progress will be a little different from what I've been doing, but I will explain more and it will be clear once I introduce the products, so let's begin!

Left Side (Traditional Project Pan)

  • Starlooks Kohl Pencil in Obsidian. Never ending eyeliner...Slowly getting to the bottom of it but I think this still has another month or two left in it.
  • Benefit's Stay Don't Stray. Halfway through the month I started using it again everyday to just brighten up my eye area and I must say I'm a fan of the effect. Even though I haven't been wearing shadows I'm pleased to have found a use for this.
  • Benefit's Benetint. I've used about half the bottle which I'm proud of. It's a disaster as a cheek stain for me, think clown, but I've been wearing it on my lips almost everyday and layering my lip glaze over it.
  • CoverGirl Flamed Out Mascara. This pretty much dried out, it wasn't as good as I remember it being but maybe because it was reaching the end of its life.
  • Stila Lip Glaze in Black Cherry. Done done done! Still didn't end up liking the color any better which is a shame but I'm pleased I finished this.
New items for June!
  • Benefit Oxygen Foundation. I have this small bottle of this stuff from one of those Benefit kits that I just want to use up. When I was going through primer samples this month this was my foundation I turned to. The color isn't right and it's not very oily skin friendly so I just want to be done with this.
  • Benefit's Gimme Brow. I think it's funny that 4/5 project pan items are Benefit now! I'm just not crazy about this stuff and I would really like to make an effort to use it up instead of just letting it dry up.
Right Side (Products to Use More)
  • Nars Orgasm/Laguna Duo. I used the heck out of Orgasm this month, pretty much everyday, but Laguna is definitely a contour shade for me and I was doing more all over warming up my face so that didn't get used much.
  • Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow in Pearl. Glitter mania. I used this a good amount of times but it's just really glittery and therefore tricky for everyday use. It was decent though, smooth like it claims but not that long lasting.
  • Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. Beautiful, yes. Hate it, yes. My skin did not like this, it turned me into a grease-ball everytime. It did get some use though, I mixed it in with a foundation I have that's a shade too dark and it did a great job matching the color, it just isn't oily face friendly at all!
New Items for June!
  • Too Faced Chocolate Soleil. Time to step up my contouring game! I putting this delicious smelling bronzer here because it's a great contour shade and will be a nice incentive to practice and learn.
  • City Color White Gold. This is the cutest container and really nice all over color that I got in an Ipsy and I'm pretty much obsessed. It's here so it will be out and getting lots of use!
  • NYX Baked Blush in Wanderlust. Another one of those forgotten products, I want to dust off this gorgeous peachy shimmer and get some use out of it!
Center (Weekly Product)
Pat on the back I finished these all up except Ralph Lauren Romance because the spray is broken and I couldn't open it up. I'm really into lip products lately so in June I'm picking up another round of lippies to rotate through. I've grabbed the Revlon Lip Butters and the four I'm featuring this month are Peach Parfait, Berry Smoothie, Wild Watermelon, and Candy Apple.
