Top 5 Summer Perfume Picks!

Before there was makeup for me, there was perfume and at this point I have amassed quite a collection. I'm definitely somebody who separates scents based on seasons and usually have my signature scent for the year. Thought it would be fun to share some past summer picks and just classic favorites. I'm going to attempt to describe the smell, but I don't think it will make any sense because I'm awful at it so I'll also include the descriptions off the websites. Opinions are totally mine though. These are in no particular order, but I will say that my current favorite fragrance that I've been wearing all day everyday is the Juicy Couture Malibu one! Just my current obsession.

  • Viktor Rolf Flower Bomb. A flower bomb? I can't explain it, but I just love it. This one is a more sophisticated scent that I just feel so posh and expensive wearing. Sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli.
  • Marc Jacobs Dot. This is the one reminds me of peaches on a summer picnic. It sounds silly but go sniff this one and maybe you'll get the same picture I do. This was my go-to scent for last summer. The exuberant top captivates with a delectable blend of red berries, succulent dragonfruit, and sweet honeysuckle. The lush floral heart of the fragrance blooms with the addictive beautiful jasmine, mingled with energizing notes of coconut water and orange blossom. The scent rounds out with a feminine dry down of creamy vanilla, driftwood, and sensual musks.
  • Juicy Couture, Couture La La Malibu. A clean slightly soapy scent with notes of citrus. Like I said this is my go to, it's not overly powering but it exudes such a youthful scent to me I just think it's perfect. Sparkling mandarin notes are highlighted with sweet pink sugar, creating a radiant fragrance that captures the casual-luxe spirit of Los Angeles.
  • Bath & Body Works Forever Red. This one is just sweet and fun, look at me, a Shakespeare at words! (heavy sarcasm there) This one is definitely very sweet so use it sparingly but I do detect hints of coconut that just makes it very tropical for me. A passionate blend of pomegranate & red osmanthus with a sexy surprise of vanilla rum.
  • Marc Jacobs Daisy. Woodsy and floral? See what did I tell you, horrible explanations. This one is a classic, I've actually run out of my big bottle and I just have a mini bottle that I got from the Sephora points but this is just a smell that I will always love. The heart of Daisy is floral with vintage edge of violet. Sophisticated, with a touch of whimsy, violet captures the eclectic, timeless flavor of Marc Jacobs' groundbreaking feminine designs. Always elegant, always enchanting—but not too serious—Daisy is a sparkling floral bouquet, spirited and fresh, wrapped in comfort and warmth.
What is your go-to summer scent?
