June 2014 UNfavorites + Face Wash Update!

I'll admit I didn't have many unfavorites this month and the ones I did come up with are things I've never really liked by every month they somehow get left out of my unfavorites. Like I mentioned in the past few days it's been a weird month for me and beauty really has taken a backseat to life. Anyways, let's just get into the few items I've distinguished as worst of June 2014.

  • I read reviews and really wanted to like these Softlips Cubes, but just like their skinny sticks that I used to use in high school, they just aren't moisturizing and I feel like it does more damage than good to my lips. This vanilla one smells divine but at the end of the day it's just not that great for me.
  • This Eyeko Skinny Mini Liner came in a Birchbox and I really wanted to like it, but compared to my Stila, it just didn't have a chance. I feel like the tip is a little too fat for the thin line I prefer and the formula itself isn't that black, and it's kind of watery and therefore streaky. Also does not stay all day, so this is a no.
  • Ole Hendricksen Truth To Go Wipes, there is just so much wrong about you. A lot of people are obsessed with these over priced towelettes and I just don't get it. First of all this herby smell it has revolts me and secondly, it does not remove makeup well at all!
  • I wrote a whole review on the Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation, the highlights is that my oily skin does not play nicely with it and it wears off in a large unsightly patches. I want to say I learned my lesson with holding onto receipts after this but sadly no I still haven't.
Face Wash Update!
Like I said before this is my last month where I will put an update in for this. I've whittled it down to just the St Ives Scrub seeing as the Aveeno is used up and the Suki has turned into a rock hard sugar mess. It was a good run but I'm pleased to have decluttered my shower and in the process I've started using some of the samples I've been sent and finding some new cleanser gems.
