InstaNatural Haul & Review!

If you've been following me for awhile now you will know that I have a slightly sick obsession with masks, whether it's a hair, face or even foot mask I will try it. I just love the idea of packing on something that will really deliver a punch of nutrients. It's actually a habit to use face masks daily and everytime I wash my hair (just twice a week) I usually use a hair mask instead of a conditioner. So therefore I was thrilled when I was contacted by InstaNaturals to review their Argan Oil Hair Mask, and as an added bonus they asked if I was interested in reviewing two more of their products! Obviously I jumped at the chance and finally now I am ready to share my haul and review of these products now that I have thoroughly tested them out for about three weeks.

Here's a little background information on the company itself:

In addition, we strongly believe in treating our customers the way we would want to be treated. This is why our lifetime satisfaction guarantee and our customer service is unlike any other company in the industry.
First up let's talk about the hair mask! The Argan Oil Hair Mask is a deep conditioning treatment that is designed to transform dry and damaged strands into soft, shiny, healthy hair. It is packed full of nourishing organic ingredients that work to strengthen hair and defend against heat damage. The key active ingredients includes Argan Oil, Amino Acid Complex, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, and Vitamin B5. This can be used two ways, as a daily conditioner or as a deep hydration mask where you put it on towel dried hair for 15 minutes. I have experimented with both methods are here are my thoughts on the product.
First of all it is a very generous tub of product. Basically the entire jar was full to the top with no product settling that would cause huge air pockets. That really impressed me since most hair masks you can buy are only about half full. It's fairly thick and smells strongly of argan oil, which isn't an unpleasant smell so it doesn't bother me. It clings to the hair fairly well so it's easy to apply and get it to stay in the hair. However after using it both as a conditioner and a hair mask I must say this isn't the best hair mask out there. It left my hair feeling very textured and kind of gritty. It didn't make my hair any softer or shinier than usual and if anything I would say it didn't make my hair soft at all. I also felt that after using this my hair would get dirtier a lot faster than it normally does. Bottom line I'm not a huge fan of this product because in my experience it did not perform as promised.
Next is the Vitamin C Serum. I was very excited that I got the chance to try out this product. Vitamin C has loads of great benefits such as boosting collagen production to help diminish appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and age spots, as well as helping with skin discoloration. It is also able to help your skin appear smoother and brighter by evening out skin tone. This serum is also formulated with Hyaluronic Acid which is fantastic at locking in hydration and boosting the skin's natural ability to retain moisture.
I immediately threw this into my night time routine and I must say I am very pleased with this product. It comes packaged in a small glass bottle with a dropper. The product itself has the same smell and appearance of orange juice though a thicker consistency. A few drops is enough to cover my whole face and neck. At first it feels slightly sticky on the skin but after you pat it in it absorbs quickly and the tacky feeling leaves. I've been using this for a little less than a month now and already I see improvement in my skin tone and I can see my acne scars fading! I highly recommend adding Vitamin C into your skincare regime if you're looking for something to brighten and even out your skin and this InstaNatural bottle is a terrific option!
Finally there is the 100% Pure Certified Organic Argan Oil. It is exactly what it sounds like, a giant bottle of pure Argan Oil. Using oils for beauty has been a huge trend this year and I must say that Argan Oil is not one oil I picked up on. I was all about coconut, jojoba, passion fruit seed and tea tree oil to just name a few but this is my first experience with argan oil. As with most oils, they all have similar benefits: they are fantastic for moisturizing skin, cuticles, and hair and can be used just about anywhere on the body. Argan oil is allegedly fantastic for stretch marks too so that's what I've been testing that out with! I have my marks on my legs and it seemed reasonable to start using argan oil on it.
I really like the design of this bottle how it is a pump at the top. The oil itself is very thin and fast absorbing which I'm a huge fan of. My biggest gripe with oils is how they sit on skin for hours before finally soaking in so this argan oil was a nice change. So far I'm not seeing dramatic results with the marks but it is leaving my skin very soft where I use it so I will continue using this stuff.

So that was my InstaNatural haul and review. A huge thank you to Brandbacker for providing me with this opportunity to try out so many goodies. Even if they weren't all hits I'm interested in exploring more InstaNatural products!
