What's in my Trash?! #14

It's another one of those months where empties are really piling up to an alarming amount so there are six extra bonuses again that I will be sharing this month! And even after doing that I STILL have an excess of empties that will roll over to February. I finished a few full size items lately which is very impressive, including somethings that I absolutely hated so I did an extra special jig when I realized I had come to the end of some things. Anyways let's just get right into it!

  • Freeman's Star Fruit Paper Mask. I have a new found love for sheet masks, however not this one because the shape is too small for my face. I got this is my Freeman's Mystery Bag (loved that thing and will definitely get the next one!) so I used it just to use it up but I won't be buying any sheet masks from this brand myself.
  • Mulberry Essence Mask. This I got in a Memebox and I'm finding that this Asian brand ones are actually large enough to fit on your face comfortably. I really liked this, it was very hydrating and my skin was very soft afterwards. If I could ever find this I would definitely pick up a stash!
  • Freeman's Pineapple Enzyme Mask Packet. Pineapple masks always sound so promising but I find they definitely aren't that brightening or exfoliating with my skin. This stuff was really sticky to apply so I made a mess with it and I didn't really see any results so I'll pass on buying this in full size.
  • Marc Anthony Beach Waves Beach Spray.  Does beach just equate insane amount of salt to dry out your hair because this is what I got from this. There was the added bonus of coconut sunscreen scent so it really was like being at the beach for me. No I won't be buying this.
  • Nail Polish Remover Pads. These are GREAT for taking off light colored polishes however darker colors and it kind of smears the colors and stains your fingers. I bought this in a pack of four so I'll still be using it up but I probably won't repurchase them simply because I like to wear a lot of dark polishes.
  • Gilchrist & Soames Body Lotion. Tacky hotel lotion that is thin, sucks at its job, and a smell that puts me to sleep. No I will not buy you even if you paid me!
  • Skyn Iceland Cleansing Cloths. Not crazy about these. I didn't like the scent and I thought they performed very average. It does get points for being really wet cloths which I like because less tugging happens when using them, but I won't buy them.
  • No 4 Prep & Prepare Sample. I don't think this achieved anything except causing product build up that made my hair dirty. No I will not buy you.
  • Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm Sample. I actually finished this a LONG time ago but it had just been sitting in the drawers. Good thing I did a beauty inventory because I actually bought a full size of this product months ago. I love this stuff, it's the most natural stuff ever, very very VERY sheer but just enough to blur imperfections and balance out your skin tone. Best my skin but better product EVER!
  • TheBalm Timebalm Spearmint Aloe Face Mask. I wasn't crazy over this mask. I felt like my $3 Mint Julep mask did a better job than this stuff so I won't repurchase this again.
  • Michael Todd Tropical Fruit Scrub. There was a time I was obsessed with this scrub and while it's still a good scrub I've found new things (Kiwi Scrub!!) to fawn over. That being said I actually have a few back ups of this stuff but once those are used up I probably won't buy this again.
  • elf Lip Exfoliator. Great cheap exfoliator. It works and tastes delicious. I bought a few backups because these will be quite handy through winter! I've heard complaints about this stuff drying up but I had it open for about 3 months and had no problems with that.
  • Neutrogena Triple Moisture Hair Mask. The most average hair mask ever. I know it's cheap but I've tried similarly priced products (Erase Balm!) and got amazing results so I had pretty high standards that just weren't met. The first time I used this it actually made my hair quite tangly so not a fan and I won't buy this again.
  • Mi Click Manuka Honey Treatment. This is something else that came in a Memebox and it just didn't do much to impress me. Not something I would buy on my own.
  • Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Scrub. Where do I even begin with this. This is a small travel size item that I've had probably close to a year now and I am just finishing it. It's just such an awful small that doesn't achieve anything amazing. I'm glad to finally be rid of it and won't ever buy this again!
  • Harvey Prince Ageless Body Cream Sample. Birchbox sure loves Harvey Prince products and this stuff actually smelled pretty good! It worked pretty well it was a nice thick cream that absorbed quick and if I didn't have a million lotions to use up I would actually considering buying this in full size. Who knows, maybe one day...
  • Renpure BB Cream Conditioner. It's a conditioner and it worked. Now that I only wash my hair twice a week I just use hair masks as conditioners since I'm not at a risk of over conditioning so I won't be picking this up again.
  • From Nature Multi Effect Collagen Honey Sheet Mask. Another Asian sheet mask so I loved that it fit my face but I really don't think it did much, so it won't be one that I would pick up again.
  • Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. Without a doubt my favorite drugstore mascara! I wear it everyday whether by itself or as a brush through mascara. You would think I would go through these faster but I don't...I am always well stocked on these mascaras and I probably won't stop buying them anytime soon!
  • Gilchrist & Soames Body Lotion. Basically the same product as above but in cheaper looking packaging. I guess if the first body lotion was from a tacky hotel, this one would be the budget friendly one. Again hated the watery non moisturizing consistency and generic hotel stink so no I would not purchase this.
  • Pantene Pro-V Smooth Shampoo. You know how some shampoos leave your hair feeling dirtier? This was one of them for me. Even if I used it as a first wash followed by a clarifying shampoo, within a day I would get that product build up feeling and my roots were feeling gritty. I hate this shampoo so much and it has sat in my shower for SO long but I was determined not to waste it and I'm crying tears of joy that it is finally out of my life.
