Review: Mario Badescu Strawberry Face Scrub

Wow it's been awhile since there's been a review on this blog! And if we aren't counting sponsored posts, it's been even longer! I'm not even sure I quite remember how to go about these, but one of my goals for this year was the return of more reviews, favorites, and general beauty posts so three months into the year let's get this rolling!

Today I'm coming at you with a face scrub that I picked up a really long time ago, the Mario Badescu Strawberry Face Scrub. Awhile back I had a fairly large Mario Badescu haul off HauteLook that I was too embarrassed to ever post but it's taken awhile for me to actually get into some of this stuff. I started using this about a month ago and I've formed an opinion that I would like to share today!

The Mario Badescu Strawberry Face Scrub comes in a white screw top jar with the signature green lettered labeling that the brand is known for. For $15 you get a very generous 4 ounces of product that always comes safety sealed for freshness. The goo is the color of strawberry ice cream and is peppered with real strawberry seeds to provide the scrubbing action. The seeds gently buffs away flaky skin while natural AHA's breaks down build-up and unclogs pores. This scrub can be used 2-3 times a week and is best used at night.
The seeds are suspended in a very creamy mixture and feels very moisturizing as you apply it to your skin. The seeds are gentle yet effective so it is a scrub that you can definitely feel working. Immediate results revealed cleaner pores and softer skin and with consistent use I noticed an improvement to my skin texture and a reduction in blackheads.

I give this scrub two thumbs up as an effective and fairly affordable option because you really get a lot of product for the price.

Have you used the strawberry scrub? What are your thoughts?
