Golden Tote March 2015 Reveal!

This is a month of firsts when it comes to subscription services! First FabFitFun and now Golden Tote are all making an appearance this month! In an effort to step up my wardrobe game I was first introduced to Golden Tote back in December. For $49 you can select one piece of clothing from the boutique and they will send you an additional surprise piece, and for $149 you can choose two pieces and got four surprises. It's a great value for some good quality clothing and the surprises are always curated from a detailed style profile that you fill out yourself. This is my third tote I've purchased and I think I've been lucky since every piece of clothing I loved and either kept or gifted to my mom. Basically she and I split the tote pretty evenly whenever they come!

This is my first month doing one of these reveals so I had a hard time figuring out how to photograph all the clothes so I apologize in advance for not the best photos. They had some issues with their new site launch last month so this is a March tote that I didn't receive until the beginning of April. I'm slowly looking at the spoilers for April though and debating whether or not I need to pick one up!

First up is this Giraffe Dress which was one of my chosen items for the month. The second I saw this spoiler I KNEW that I had to have it! Giraffes are my favorite animals and this dress is so perfect! I'm glad I sized up because the sleeves are definitely a bit tight. It looks massive on the hanger but I promise it is absolutely adorable on with a belt to cinch it all in. This will definitely get a lot of wear once it stops being so cold and windy!
Next up is this gorgeous Elegant Evening Maxi that was my second chosen item. It is beautiful and flowy...but also about five inches too long. Otherwise it is great and can be dressed up or down, so this will definitely be a great summer staple for me.
My first surprise item is this Fantastic Fawn Crochet Trim Top which is the softest lightweight sweater ever. It is such a "me" item and works great in my wardrobe with the added bonus of a color that I normally don't pick up. I wore this to work the next day I received my tote and we have been inseparable ever since.
Next up is this Lime & Chili Stripe Top which I like, but I'm not too sure about the sleeves. They are a little over-sized but I think sewing it may turn it into a top that I am more comfortable with. I do love the nautical feel of this and I can imagine this styled with some white shorts and boating shoes for a cute outfit. Those are navy stripes not black, I don't think that translates too well.
The last two pieces immediately got claimed by my mom. First is this Promesa Jersey Dress which is a simple midi dress with a cute cutout in the bag which looked so elegant and classy on my mom I insisted that she take it.
The last item is this very boho top that is the Love Stitch 3/4 Sleeve Tassel Top. I'm not a fan of tassels and my mom is just crazy about them so this worked out perfectly for her.

Overall I'm very pleased with my tote, I was happy I was able to share it with my mom, it was like my stylist knew our personal styles and split the surprises for us! Have you ever gotten a Golden Tote? What has your experience been?
