Refreshing Summer Drink Recipes

I think it's high time I revive my Pinterest because I've been spending a lot of time on there lately browsing for inspiration but not actually pinning things. What? Yeah it's not making any sense at all to me either. I'm looking for everything, decoration, nail art, and more recently I stumbled across quite a few drink recipes that I'm now dying to try out. I don't really have a sweet tooth, I'm always craving salt and savory treats but I like to get my fix of sugar with a sweet drink. I know that's the one thing people say not to do but I tell myself it's okay since I'm not stuffing myself with cookies and chocolate regularly. Anyways, I wanted to just link a few different recipes I found that I'm definitely looking forward to testing out this summer as good way to archive it for myself and perhaps spread the joy to others!

  • Ice tea is one of my favorite summer drinks and usually I make a huge pitcher of mango ice tea weekly but this recipe for peach ice tea looks easy and delicious. Of course all that sugar will be replaced with Truvia (as will most of the sugar in all these recipes) but I want to try and mix it up this year with some different flavors! A fun tip for fruit ice tea is to use frozen fruit as ice cubes to add some color and prevent dilution in your drink.
  • It's really time to break out the blender more or perhaps invest in a Magic Bullet type of thing because there are so many delicious blended drink recipes out there! This raspberry lemonade slushie looks like the perfect thing to start with since it is simple to make and really hard to screw up!
  • This is my go-to drink at Starbucks for the summer so I was excited to see a copycat Starbucks passion tea lemonade recipe to try out at home! I actually have all of these ingredients at home (including that exact tea!) so I'm looking forward to trying it out soon.
  • How pretty does this cranberry lime spritzer look?? It would be a great drink to serve at a midsummer dinner party that can easily be turned alcoholic by using sparkling wine!
  • Why not combine two delicious fruits for one amazing drink? Absolutely not reason at all! This mango peach fizz looks like it can firmly become a staple in my drink game! I love that the recipe has options to make it alcoholic or not and I think I'm a fan of how little sugar goes into it.
  • How pretty and festively appropriate is this patriotic punch?? I'm not sure of my plans for the 4th right now but if I get the chance it will definitely include this drink!
  • I went through a crazy horchata phase while I was in college and then kind of forgot about this drink until the very moment when I stumbled across a horchata recipe so of course this had to make the list! This is perhaps a little thicker and heavier than what you think of for a refreshing summer drink but it was such a touch of nostalgia I just had to.
What are some of your favorite refreshing summer drink recipes?
