My new thing lately has been body scrubs, I've mentioned it a few times but I've always suffered with slightly bumpy legs for some mysterious reason, and recently I've been trying to find a cure to that. I absolutely love how reasonably short the ingredient list is and happy that I recognize the large majority of the ingredients (Dead Sea Salt, Paraffinum Liquidum, Apricot (Prunus Armeniaca) Kernel Oil, Avocado (Persea Gratissima) Oil, Isopropyl Palmitate, Isopropyl Myristate, Sweet Almond (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) Oil, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol & Aloe Vera Gel & Jojoba (Buxus Chinensis) Extract & Ginseng (Panax Ginseng) Extract & Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis) Extract & Papaya (Carica Papaya) Extract, Grape (Vitis Vinifera) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Algae Extract, BHT, Sesame (Sesamum Indicum) Oil.) I was especially excited to see all the oils in the list because that tells me that this scrub will not only exfoliate but also deeply moisturize my skin.
First impression I was slightly alarmed and confused why there was all that extra liquid kind of sloshing around in the container. I was a little put off by it because I wasn't sure if it was suppose to be there and it was difficult to scoop it out and apply it without spilling. There's no handy shelf in my shower so often when I do the scrubs I'm holding the open container with one hand and using the other hand to apply it, so you can see how it gets tricky! It makes sense though to have that excess liquid because it keeps the scrub hydrated so there is never the risk of the salt becoming a solid mass which makes chipping out so product to use quite difficult!

I'm not a fan of this smell at all, actually any product that is touted as an ocean or clean water scent I am not a fan. I can never pinpoint the exact fragrance note that I don't like but just something about them is off putting. The smell is present and slightly offensive to me but thankfully it does not linger.

Picking up the scrub, it is very wet and I was worried that it would not be abrasiveness enough for my liking. The scrub would actually slip through my fingers, that was how liquid-y it was! However I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not only abrasive but high effective! Once you start scrubbing the excess liquid (which is oil) starts absorbing into your skin and you are left with just the gritty salt scrub of it. It does a great job sloughing off the dead skin while hydrating leave my skin soft and smooth! Each time I used it I noticed immediate results and I also notice that it is helping keep my skin smooth in the long run.

As a body scrub I highly recommend this, it's helping my bumpy legs return to their soft and smooth state that no other scrub has been able to achieve for me yet!
