June 2015 Favorites

I'm struggling these days with this little intro bit at the beginning of each post, especially when it comes to favorites post! I feel like I just sound so repetitive each time, maybe I should start rambling about my skin each month because honestly that is a lot of the reason why I use or avoid certain products each month. Hmm let's give it a shot! So this past month my skin has been fairly oily, I've been breaking out pretty badly and I'm not really sure why. I tried giving me skin a break from my skincare routine for a few days to see if that would help with the oiliness but that actually made it break out, odd. My focus has been less on my face and more on other things so that will explain the random assortment of favorites I have this month. Fun fact though, when I first scheduled this post it was actually titled May 2015 Favorites, so good catch me because that would have been quite embarrassing to post by accident!

OPI Petal Soft. I've raved on and on about this polish in my NotW (check it out here) so if you want to know more click over but the short story is I've been in love with this polish and never imagined I would actually own so now that I have it, it was a clear choice for a June favorite!
Out the Door. After much pressuring from a friend I finally decided to give Out the Door a try, it's tough because I think I still like Seche Vite a little better, it was still worth favoriting because there are some key things about it that stand out. I don't feel like it dries quite as fast as Seche Vite but I do like that it does dry the polish completely. Now that sounds weird but Seche Vite sort of forms a hard coat over half dried polish so that stuff never lasts long, it will flake off within a day or two, but Out the Door actually dries all layers of the polish. I'm doing a horrible job explaining it but basically I like Seche Vite because it will become rock hard after about 2 minutes but I like Out the Door because even though it takes longer to dry it actually helps your manicure last longer. Make sense yet?
Adovia Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub. I have a full review here so I won't go on too much but I do love this scrub because it works well and also hydrates at the same time so my legs are extra soft after use!
Sephora Vanilla Smoothing Body Scrub. As if one body scrub would be enough, no another one had to make the list! This one smells amazing and it is a scrub that really gets the job done. I mean like deep exfoliating this is taking five layers of skin off job well done. Sadly I snagged this on clearance meaning they are discontinuing it so I wish I knew how amazing it was so I could have stocked up!
Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Exfoliating Scrub. Oh yes, more scrubs, but this is a facial scrub. Again here is a full review so I won't go on too much but it is amazing and my skin feel so clean and smooth afterwards!
H2O+ Vanilla Almond Moisturizing Body Balm. I love this brand for hand creams so that should have been a serious hint that their other lotions are great. This body lotion is unbelievable. It's the perfect balance of thickness and moisture and it leaves my skin so unbelievably soft. I hear there's a body scrub so I'm dying to get my hands on that too because using this has honestly been the closest I have gotten to gorgeously smooth legs!
Skin Food Green Tea Foot Mist. I don't want to give too much away since I plan to write a whole review for this but just know that this is awesome and yes it works!
Sumita Koyla Brow Pencil. Make up in my favorites?! That never happens! This month I pulled out a new pencil in my stash and despite the color being slightly off for me, I am a huge fan of this pencil and I plan on buying the correct color once it is out. It's a great shape and easy to build up the color with it so I'm a huge fan. The pencil is soft but not crumbly which is great for the light strokes without the fear of it snapping on me.
Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. This really is the OG of mascaras for me and every once in awhile it deserves a shout out even though it's probably the one thing I use consistently everyday every month. It's just so perfect, it works as a very natural everyday look by itself, or the perfect comb through mascara for anything. I'm thrilled they sell these in packs at Costco now so I'll never need to be without the best mascara ever!
