Unboxing: Birchbox August 2015

This month's box design is to DIE for and probably the best one to date. Like seriously how cute is this box?! I might actually put this one on display somewhere because I love it that much. I don't exactly remember what the sample choices were this month but I remember trying to pick beteen the COOLA makeup setting spray I got last month and the sample I ultimately picked so just right there I don't think there was much of a theme since they were pretty different products. I also picked up a Birchbox Plus item this month which again, (I'm the worst) I don't remember exactly what paid for it, but I saw it and was just like I need it. I remember it being a little pricey but I could see myself using it a lot so I went for it.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with Birchbox it is one of those monthly beauty sample boxes where they send you a box of 5-6 (sometimes even 7 with bonus extras) samples and deluxe samples. Occasionally there will be full size products too! The brands they send are all fairly high-end and they have a point system and customer service staff that just can't be beat. For $10 a month you are able to select a sample from a select group of choices and have more surprises delivered to you based on your beauty profile! Have I convinced you to sign up yet? If so I would love it if you would do it through my referral link here! Feel free to also go to www.birchbox.com if you want to look around without any strings attached to me.
The theme for August 2015 is Soak it Up!
R+Co DEATH VALLEY Dry Shampoo
Full Size Value: $29| Sample Size Value: $7.37
This was the sample I ended up picking and I'm pleased. You can never have enough travel sized dry shampoo especially since that is when you really need it! I've never heard of this brand before but the packaging is beautiful so I'll give it a go!
LAQA & Co. Charm School Kit
Full Size Value: $20 | Sample Size Value: $6
More lip crayons! I mean someone will use them. After going through my lippie collection I'm starting to hoard them up again so I think it's time for another purge. Also time for subscription boxes to stop giving them to me. I got the color Cray-Cray which was literally the only color out of the trio I was hoping to not get since I'm not a fan of coral. Oh well.
Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer
Full Size Value: $20 | Sample Size Value: $2.50
I'm actually really not a fan of this brand so I'm a little bummed out to see this in my box. My face just doesn't agree with their products so it will be safe to say this will be body lotion for me instead of a face moisturizer.
Balance Me Congest Skin Serum
Full Size Value: $30 | Sample Size Value: $14
I love serum and travel sized serums are a must have for me right now! This is serum for acne prone skin so this is perfect for me. I have a few areas that I just can't beat no matter what I do so let's see if this will do the trick.
Supergoop!® Forever Young Hand Cream with Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 40
Full Size Value: $34 for10oz | Sample Size Value: $0.50
Always thrilled with Supergoop products, I'm still waiting for that eye cream sample, but a little bummed this is hand cream. I have more hand creams then I know what to do with but I like that this stuff contains SPF so it's something I'll use up while it is bright and sunny out.

Value of Box: $30.37
Birchbox Plus Item
Sunnylife Fouta Towel
This is basically a large towel that is so soft and plush. I love it because the colors are so happy and the pattern is adorable. I just want to wrap myself in it and roll around on the ground in happiness.
