Wednesday Wants: Birchbox Edition Part 2

Today for the second round of Wednesday Wants I finished up on the rest of the items I have been eyeing in the Birchbox store. This is definitely more of a collection of random items, tools mixed in with skincare and other cute things I've stumbled across. The best thing about the Birchbox store is that it's not limited to just beauty items but there are quite a few home, lifestyle and even fashion items available.

  • Kikkerland Wooden Whale Nail Brush ($12) How cute is this whale shaped nail brush?! I have a giraffe one that I've basically used to death that needs to be retired so this adorable little guy will be perfect to have.
  • Whish Coconut Milk CC Body Cream ($38) A shimmering tinted lotion, I want it almost just for the smell alone. I'm just imagining how great a coconut milk body cream would be, so while this is pretty low on the wishlist, this is still something I'm itching to get my hands on.
  • S.W. Basics Lip Balm Flights ($15) More cute stuff! An adorable flight of lip balms in a nice tin. I think the only one I probably won't be a fan of is cinnamon but you never know until you try them.
  • suki® 2 step ultra-soft lip kit ($16.95) Ever since my horrible lip experience at the beginning of the year, I'm always on the look out for things that will keep my lips soft and smooth. I'm a fan of suki for all their scrubs so it makes sense that a lip kit would work for me too!
  • dr. brandt® pores no more® pore refiner primer ($15) For a long time this product was only sold as apart of a kit so I'm thrilled that they are finally offering it as a stand alone item. This is my favorite pore filling primer so you know I'll be snapping a tube up.
  • Aquareveal™ Satin Bright Soft Water Peel for Face ($49) This is probably more on the wish side of things since it is quite pricey, but a water peel sounds amazing and one day I would love the chance to try this out.
  • L. Erickson Interlock Italian Turban Headband ($20) It's kind of strange that I would pick this up in the Birchbox shop but I've been on the hunt for this style of headband for awhile now and it's surprisingly hard to find one that is good quality. This one looks thick and sturdy enough for my thick hair so I would pick it up.
  • Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezer ($16) I kind of need these. I had a pair in this size but they have mysteriously disappeared. They are the perfect size and shape for tweezing brows and I must say it has been quite difficult controlling the full sized tweezers I have now!
  • Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System ($149) This has been on my want list for a really long time now and realistically is probably the thing I'm spending my points on. I've heard so many great things about Clarisonics and I'm at the point where it's just such minor imperfections in my face that I want to see if this could be the answer to perfectly smooth skin. This is a great set and I would love to pick it up today!
  • Royal Apothic Cuppa Cuppa Firming Tea Treatment Mask ($58) This is also apart of the wow this is ridiculously expensive list, but I got a sample tube of this stuff in a Birchbox and just fell in love. Should have checked the price tag first because it is steep! One day as I slowly save up points again, I will definitely pick up a tin!
  • Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Pore-Reducing Toner ($20) My favorite nighttime toner that I'm running low on, so this makes the list as both a want and a need because I simply can't live without it!
  • Shea Terra Organics Authentic African Black Soap ($8) Rounding out this list is another longtime favorite of mine which is this African Black Soap. One of the greatest things for treating acne as well as fading scarring, this is my go-to bar of wonder soap.
