Review: Nivea In-Shower Nourishing Body Lotion

I'm always on the hunt for some silky soft legs so whenever a new product rolls out that will promise that I'm pretty much the first to try them out. I suffer from a lot of odd bumps and ingrown hairs which is unusual since I exfoliate on a schedule and never shave my legs. Mysteries of life.

This isn't really a new product, but I had such an experience with it I just had to share. Originally I got the variation for dry skin with shea butter which I loved so I wanted to try this version since I'm a fan of almond oil and you'd never say no to extra moisture. I don't have to much to say here, this will be a fairly quick and short review so let's just dive into it.

Right away the product itself I noticed it was a lot more watery than the shea butter version. That was actually a positive since with the shea butter I needed to use a lot more product to be able to smooth it over both legs. Once on I felt like it was much harder to rinse off and even if I scrubbed with a loofah there was still some weird residue left over. Once out of the shower it never seems to dry and there is a sticky feeling afterwards that causes my skin to cling onto any fabric it encounters. Overall this definitely didn't deliver as promised just in the no sticky feeling alone. It also left my skin feeling slightly itchy like when you don't rinse soap off all the way. In the end it also didn't help my skin feel moisturized at all.

Bottom line, if you're interested in trying these In-Shower lotions, I would steer clear of this particular variation. The shea butter was excellent but this one just did nothing for me.
