What's in my Trash?! #23

Another round of trash to share with you guys! I tell you it's such a relief to be caught up. I feel like less of a fraud because I really am just sharing the empties that I have finished through the month of October. I'm really working on going through a lot of the samples I have and I've been fairly successful at refraining from buying new products until I get rid of some stuff. This month I also finished some full sized items I've had for awhile as well as a few favorites, so let's just get right into it.

  • L'Oreal OleoTherapy Shampoo & Conditioner (Sample) I loved this shampoo and conditioner set. Once I'm done with my current shampoo and all the little samples I have, this will be the shampoo I pick up. This caused my hair to feel so clean yet hydrated and soft.
  • Michael Todd Tropical Fruit Exfoliant Scrub (Full Size) Once upon a time this used to be my favorite face scrub however I'm finding it isn't scrubby enough anymore for my likening. I won't be picking this up anymore.
  • Neutrogena Healthy Skin Boosters Facial Cleanser (Sample) It's been awhile since I tried anything from Neutrogena ever since an allergic reaction several years ago. This came in a sample box so I decided to give it a try but I didn't think it was anything special, so I won't be picking it up.

  • Watson's Facial Absorbent Paper (Full Size) I have a whole stack of these things. I don't use oil sheets often so I really can't compare it with anything but I guess it gets the job done. I have so many of these but even when I finish them up I don't think this will be something I specifically seek out to buy.
  • Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator (Full Size) I used to love this stuff but this packaging is difficult to deal with and I feel like in this larger tube it started to dry up making the scrub less effective. It was expensive too so not something I will buy again.
  • OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum (Full Size) I was a fan of this serum, it was a nice combination of moisture plus brightening. I have quite a few serums to work through right now but this is one I would consider repurchasing.

  • Sephora Dark Spot Minimizing Serum (Full Size) I don't think I even finished this, I hate it that much. The packaging was messy and the scent of the product was horrid. It also left my face feeling sticky and I saw no improvements in dark spots. Good riddance.
  • Aqualabel Moisture Lotion S (Travel Size) Honestly can't tell you if this did anything. I used it as a toner and I don't think it was any different than rubbing water onto my face. Not something I would repurchase.
  • Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque (Full Size) The holy grail of face masks for oily and acne prone people! Very inexpensive too. It took forever to work through this whole tube and I fully intend on repurchasing this. I have about 20 different face masks right now that are open plus about 5-10 brand new ones so it will be quite some time before I do.

  • Palmetto Derm Collagen Booster Serum (Full Size) I got this a FabFitFun box I believe and I really didn't see much relts with this serum. Not something I would repurchase.
  • Paula's Choice Clear Pore Normalizing Cleanser (Full Size) This cleanser actually seemed to break me out and it had a distinct acne medicine smell to it. I wasn't a fan and it dried out my skin quite a bit making it uncomfortably tight. Not something I would repurchase.
  • St. Ives Oatmeal & Shea Butter Body Wash (Full Size) Naturally I have another empty body wash. Love this stuff, always have it stocked up, and I'll keep repurchasing it!

  • eos Honeysuckle Honeydew Lip Balm (Full Size) One of my favorite lip balms right now, it works, and it smells good, so I'll keep adding to my stock.
  • NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray (Full Size) Honestly don't think this did much at all, definitely didn't keep me matte longer than normal so not something I would repurchase.
  • Bomtree Vita Berry Cleansing Foam (Full Size) I love how velvety this stuff felt when you lathered it up and it did make my face clean, but it wasn't anything miraculous so not something I would seek out to repurchase.

  • FaceQ Aloe Moisturizing & Soothing Mask (Full Size) Aloe masks are amazing for sunburns. This one was soothing and fit my face well but nothing amazing.
  • Hanaka Aloe Vera Sheet Mask (Full Size) Another one for the sunburns, this one was very wet and saturated with product so I would try out more from this line. I actually do have a few other ones that I have yet to use.
  • BeautyTreats Peach Oxygen Bubble Mask (Full Size) This was weird, it was more like a scrub than a mask. You put it on your face and then rub it into your skin until it bubbles and lathers up. It was fun but I don't think it really did anything so I wouldn't buy this again.

  • Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths (Travel Size) I HATED these. They had this disgusting medicinal smell to them, and the wipes themselves weren't wet at all. You really had to rub and scrub to get your makeup off and sometimes it would take two of these foul things to get the job done. I don't recommend these at all and if Cetaphil knew what was good for them, they would discontinue these horrid things.
  • Essence Ultime Omega Repair & Moisture Shampoo + Conditioner (Sample) My hair was not a fan of this stuff, even after washing it felt dirty within a day. Not something I would buy.
  • ZenMed Gentle Cleansing Cream (Sample) This sounds weird but it had a watery smell to it and the cleanser itself was very thin and watery. It took a lot to wash my face which I felt like was a waste of product, so this isn't something I would purchase.
