Fitness Friday!

Just as I suspected, movement did not happen for the month of November, but that's okay since I expected it. I feel like the same will go for December too but I still want to make some goals for myself to hit. This month I want to track steps taken! Instead of having a daily goal though I will be making it a weekly goal to give me cushioning on days where it just doesn't happen or the days when my Fitbit runs out of battery half way through the day or I just forget to charge it.

So the goal for this month is 35,000 steps a week or roughly 5,000 steps a day. I know that's low, but I have a very fixed job where I'm more or less chained to a desk for most of my day and once I'm done at work I just sort of collapse at home. It doesn't give me many opportunities to move around that I would like so here's the goal I'm going to just have to go with! Check back next month to get a daily break down of what happened for me in December.

I've completely fallen off the train with healthy eating. Ever since I moved offices the food choices are limited so I've really not been paying attention to what I eat. Also I'm lucky to get a chance to eat and at that point I'm just shoving whatever food I could possibly reach into my mouth as fast as I can. I'm making a commitment to drinking more water again and I'm going back to my bottle cap system to track how many bottles of water I consume throughout the day. The conservative goal for now is 4 bottles but I hope to be back to my 6-8 bottle routine that I was at earlier this year.
