What's in my Trash?! #30

Time for empties! I got a bunch this month. I took advantage of traveling to use up some of my sample packets and I'm really trying to make a conscious effort to stop hoarding sheet masks and to actually use them. Let's just dive into it!

  • Maybelline the Falsies Mascara (Full Size) Sorry for the upside down picture, it's just these first two. Hands down the best volumizing mascara out there and the fact that it's drugstore is even better. They make my lashes so fat and dark, it's amazing. Will definitely keep repurchasing.
  • Elf Eye Refresh (Full Size) Nothing crazy or special, it was nice in the morning to help depuff my eyes and dirt cheap, but probably something I won't repurchase unless I can't find my favorite Simple variation of it.
  • Garnier Duo Clean Duo Foam (Full Size) The two toned was fun and it was pretty decent with my Clarisonic, however the black was hard to clean out of the brush so probably not something I would buy again.

  • Seche Restore (Full Size) What was I doing before I found this magical stuff. Revives even the most gloopy nail polishes ever. I'm glad I had the foresight to pick up two bottles during that blow out sale but even so I will keep repurchasing this stuff.
  • L'Oreal Oleo Therapy Replenishing System (Full Size) The hair mask of a favorite shampoo and conditioner line is unfortunately not so great. My hair isn't too happy about oil all of the time and this is one of the things it just didn't like. It made my hair feel like straw and then very oily the next day. I won't repurchase this.
  • It's Skin Blueberry Sheet Mask (Single Use) Very strong blueberry smell and seeing as I'm not a blueberry fan, this wasn't a pleasant experience. Not something I would repurchase.

  • SkinFood Yogurt Sheet Mask (Single Use) This was very soothing on my skin and did make it quite soft afterwards. I have a ton of sheet masks now but it's something I would considering repurchasing.
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (Sample) I hated how thick and slightly oily it was and the smell too, I was not a fan. Not something I would purchase.
  • Dermalogica Pore Control Scrub (Sample) I hate how this smelled, not something I would buy.

  • Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum (Sample) Again the smell, something very herbally and it was also very runny yet oily. Not a solid vitamin C experience and not something I would buy.
  • Mario Badescu Botanical Exfoliating Scrub (Sample) This scrub on the other hand was fantastic. A little went a long way and my skin loved it. Once I move through the washes I have now I'll definitely pick up a full size bottle of this stuff.
  • SNP Animal Otter Aqua Mask (Single Use) This was fun to have that animal mask however it didn't do anything miraculous so I won't buy this again.

  • davines OI Shampoo & Conditioner (Sample) This stuff actually worked pretty good but I'm not one to really go for overpriced shampoos and conditioners (except for the clarifying stuff) so this is something I'll skip out on.
  • Korres Wild Rose Exfoliating Cleanser (Sample) This smelled amazing but there really wasn't much scrub to it so it's not something I would buy.
  • Go Smile Luxury Toothpaste (Sample) This toothpaste was awful, it barely foamed up so I felt like I needed to use a ton of paste to get all the teeth. Not something I would buy.

  • Curel Itch Defense Body Wash (Sample) Can't say I have an itching problem but it did it's job as a body wash. Either way, probably not something I would buy.
  • Amika Silken Up Dry Conditioner (Sample) This stuff actually worked. I was surprised. After dousing my hair with dry shampoo this stuff softened it right up. At the same time I'm really not using dry shampoo enough to justify an extra bottle in the bathroom so for now I'll pass on this.
  • Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Hydrating Serum (Full Size) I love Sibu and this serum is fantastic. It's great for daytime use and I'll probably repurchase this once I run out of everything else I have.

  • Blink Contacts Eye Drops (Sample) Lifesaver while I was in LA, contact specific drops are key if you wear contacts! I already have a full size bottle but this I'll definitely always keep handy.
  • Michael Todd Citrus Cream Moisturizer (Sample) The fake citrus smell was just too much for me to use it on my face so I used it as a lotion. This stuff was extremely runny and not fast absorbing and I didn't like it all.
  • Etude House Collagen Moistfull Peeling Wash (Sample) I think I was using this stuff wrong but either way it didn't do anything for me so I'll pass.

  • Macadamia Deep Repair Masque (Full Size) Love this stuff and how soft and nice it makes my hair. I'll definitely keep buying it.
  • Harvey Prince Hello (Sample) Not a fan.
  • Benefit's They're Real! Mascara (Full Size) Another favorite mascara of mine, I have a stash that I'll just keep adding to.

  • Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips (Sample) Sticky and oily and not nearly as hydrating as it claims. It was just a hot mess to use and not something I would ever use again.
  • Misc Perfumes (Samples) Didn't like any of them.
  • Pure Silk Raspberry Mist Shave Cream (Sample) This stuff was actually really great, helped with a very close shave and made my skin silky smooth. If there ever comes a time where I'll start shaving regularly and decide to stop using whatever random bottle of stuff in the shower to shave with, this is the stuff I'll get.

  • Garnier Fructis Dry Shampoo (Full Size) My favorite drugstore dry shampoo. My hair really isn't that oily anymore now that it's gotten used to the bi weekly washing as well as the introduction of a really great clarifying shampoo. For now I don't think I'll need dry shampoo but in the future this stuff is first on the list when I do!
  • Clear Care Lense Solution (Full Size) Best stuff, love it.
  • Burt's Bees Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Towelettes (Full Size) These smelled awesome and worked really well. I'm really trying to not use wipes just since the cleansing oil is so much better for my skin but whenever I'm feeling lazy next, I'll be picking more of these up.
